Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County, President & CEO

Keith “Fletch” Fletcher currently serves as the President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County. He has a led a renaissance of sorts since his arrival, quadrupling operating revenue, dramatically expanding staff and exceeding 3 year comprehensive campaign goals in just 6 months. Prior to joining the Martin County family, Fletch served as the Vice President and Executive Director of City Year Miami, an education-focused non-profit that worked within the context of the 4th largest school district in the country to increase the overall graduation rate by placing tutors, mentors and role models in the lowest performing schools. This program targeted improving student’s attendance, behavior and course performance in math and English and operated within the framework of removing all obstacles that stand in the way of the whole child’s performance.

An accomplished fundraiser and executive leader, Fletch has previously held substantial leadership roles at uAspire (an organization addressing what many consider the next great financial crisis for this country- astronomical student debt), Florida International University (working with both the creation of a life sciences and technology industry cluster across South Florida and community wide education transformation efforts) and the University of Miami (with roles leading on undergraduate community service, civic engagement and leadership as well as local lobbying).

Fletch is a graduate of the LEADERship Martin County Class 30 and is a Trustee of the Stuart/Martin Chamber of Commerce. He is currently a member of Leadership Florida having previously served as the Program Chair: Connect from 2015-2017. Fletch recently completed his multi-year tenure as the co- chair of the Education Committee for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) and served as the only two-time chair of the GMCC’s premiere year-long leadership program, Leadership Miami. Fletch also serves on numerous local and regional boards. He possesses substantial experience in DEIB, advocacy, social justice, government relations, strategic planning, board governance and more.

Fletch is also the founder and co-managing director of a boutique leadership firm focusing on team building, capacity building strategies and executive coaching. He lives in Miami with his wife, Leyla, who is from Bahrain and his two daughters, Zoe (7) and Kaia (4).

Fletch received his BA in Speech Communication/Public Relations from James Madison University and his M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Georgia.
